East Maricopa NRCD is located in Maricopa county and includes thirteen cities. The mission of the East Maricopa NRCD is to provide technical assistance and education for the conservation of natural resources to rural and urban land stewards.
“The mission of the East Maricopa Natural Resource Conservation District is to provide technical assistance and education for conservation of natural resources to rural and urban land stewards.”
The District also sponsors the Desert Willow Environmental Education Center. Its mission: “to provide unbiased environmental educational outreach to the East Maricopa community in order to enhance environmental knowledge and develop responsible stewardship of natural resources and teach the importance of our desert ecosystem.”
